Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci lends his unique styling to the next release in the Converse Addict range. A black gloss leopard print has been added to an all black canvas which sits on top of a polyurethane Poron cushioned sole with a Vibram outsole. Add to that an Outlast lining and detailing such as rubber spikes down the back of the heel, you have a rather unique looking shoe. The jury is still out as to whether the use of these extra materials or the added build quality balances out the high price, but either way these shoes would certainly turn some heads. The Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci x Converse Addict All Stars receives a limited release in Japan on the 27th April for ¥29,400 ($356.00).

Swizz Beatz and Eve are coolin' with their new collaboration "Everyday." It's definitely show time on Swizz's newest single off of his upcoming album "Haute Living."
"Everday (Coolin')" is a classic Swizz beat with 808's bumping and hi-hats pumping. Swizz and Eve shout out all of their favorite designers including Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton, but no Coach. Eve is definitely bringing some fire with her sweet 16 bars. Guess Ruff Ryders are working their way back on the scene as a group.

Diggy Simmons celebrated his 16th birthday with a bowling party at Lucky Strike in New York City. The XXL Freshman was joined by his sister Angela Simmons, as well as Diddy's sons Quincy and Justin Combs.
Diggy's cake showed off his shoe line Chivalrous Culture, which he also wore as he bowled. Maybe that's why the young jet setter bowled strike after strike! In case you were wondering, Diggy's Chiv Cultures are not even bowling shoes, but that didn't stop Dig from sporting them anyway.
Diggy was joined by his friend Jessica Jarrell who tweeted, "Me and @diggy_simmons boutta go to his party :)" Diggy's party was an all out good time for all who attended, leaving the "Flight School" rapper to tweet, "Birthday party tonight. Friends family & good vibes." Check out these pictures from Diggy's 16th Birthday Party at Lucky Strike.

Get inside the mind—and the closet—of Chicago’s cerebral hip-hop star
By: Kevin McKeough
Lupe Fiasco’s third album, Lasers, cements his reputation as one of hip-hop’s most cerebral and distinctive performers. “Before I did any of the recording, I wrote a very socially conscious, socially active manifesto, and I used it as the template for the album,” says the 29-year-old, who lives in East Garfield Park. Chicago talked to him about what spurs his creativity.
SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
Cornel West, Princeton University African American studies professor. “He’s taken on the role as mentor for me, invited me to speak at Princeton.”
“Knowledge isn’t exclusive to the college-professor class. The average man living his life can have profound insights.”
WHAT HE'S WEARING
IN HIS CLOSET
Mastermind Japan (“More punk-rock-inspired stuff, but they make some great luxury items”), Somet jeans (“They’re really fine and detailed”), Dior, Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, and Junya Watanabe. “I’m also a big fan of the Gap. I’ll throw on a Gap cardigan and a T-shirt and some cutoff Dickies pants and be good. I’m walking both ends of the spectrum.”
ON HIS FEET
Daft Punk’s Tron: Legacy soundtrack, Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, and Bobby Brown’s Greatest Hits
John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme and the Mars Volta’s De-loused in the Comatorium. “[Singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala’s] voice is bananas.”
WHAT HE'S READING, PLUS HIS WORKOUT REGIME
IN HIS BACKPACK
Super Imperialism: The Origin and Fundamentals of U.S. World Dominance by Michael Hudson and The World As I See It by Albert Einstein. “I try to keep a spectrum of books, so when one gets too tiring to read, I can switch to another. I’m also reading Noam Chomsky and a little Immanuel Kant.”
Jujitsu and running. “Not so much skateboarding anymore, because it’s dangerous.”
